 In Hemel Hempstead

On Thursday 7th November, Clipso Hemel Hempstead, based on Bridge Street, hosted a pamper evening to raise awareness for local charity, The Hospice of St Francis. The evening was a huge success with over 100 guests attending and the salon raising an incredible £832 for the charity.

On the evening, guests were welcomed by the friendly and talented hair team, who were also on hand to offer expert advice including home styling and maintenance tips, colour and extension consultations and taster shiatsu head massages. The evening also included product and blow-dry demonstrations, plus a beautician from local beauty salon, Therapy Zone, gave skin and body care advice to guests. Alterna, GHD, Strictly Boudoir Photography and Kingfisher Caterers were all present on the night to offer their support.

As well as offering guest advice, attendees were able to purchase discounted salon vouchers and were invited to take part in a charity raffle, with prizes including GHD Irons, a £100 Clipso salon voucher, Alterna goodies and Strictly Boudoir Photography vouchers. Other prizes included gifts from Kingfisher Caterers, Racoon hair extensions, Daisy Chain jewellers, Gaddesden flowers, Manhattan menswear, Shendish Manor and Red Lion pub. On top of this, guest took home a complimentary goody bag, provided by the Clipso as a thank you for their attendance.

The Hospice of St Francis cares for patients with a wide range of life threatening illnesses including cancers, heart disease, lung disease and neurological illnesses. Care is given in their Inpatient Unit and the Spring Centre which includes outpatient clinics and carer groups. Their care is also available beyond the Hospice building, in the home, in local hospitals and nursing homes.

“We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who attended the charity pamper evening and to everyone involved who helped to make it a huge success. My team and I are so pleased with the amount we raised for The Hospice of St Francis, which is an incredible charity who thoroughly deserve the money for their wonderful work,” said Ian Ward, Managing Director of Clipso Hemel Hempstead.
