CLIPSO ST ALBANS ATTEND L’OREAL PROFESSIONAL SS13 CATWALK SHOWCASE

Last week members of the Clipso St Albans salon team attended L’Oreal Professional’s SS13 Catwalk Showcase. Please see reports from the evening from two of the salons team members below:

Simon Cox, Managing Director:
The L’Oreal Professional Catwalk Showcase evening was an inspiring event; the L’Oreal ID Artists did themselves proud showing us their trend predictions for this spring/summer’s key looks. From floral prints on the clothing reminiscent of the flower power era of the 60`s. The hair displayed refreshing pink and apricot soft tones for blondes and warm caramel tones for darker tresses. The subtle under colour techniques with bright strong colours on soft global colours gave an amazing 3D effect. The styling and finishes were loose and ruffled for a soft romantic look and there were textured ponytails. All in all the evening was very effective and I will be trying these looks on my own clients within the salon.

Demi Vidgen, Graduate Hair Designer:
The L’Oreal spring/summer Catwalk Showcase was so motivating and inspiring. I learnt about all the new and key hair trends that are set to be big for spring/summer 2013. The stylists showed great confidence within their tutorials and they made me want to learn more.
