CLIPSO YOUNG SUPERSTAR AWARDS 2012

In Addiction Watford, Cheshunt, Hemel Hempstead, London, St Albans, Watford

Education is an area that we take very seriously and it’s the younger generation of upcoming talented hairdressers who are recognised as the continued future success of the Clipso group. Each year, the Clipso Young Superstars awards put assistants and trainees against one another, and once again the 2012 competition was a huge success.

The competition was compered by Harriette Calvert who is a Hair Designer at Clipso Watford. The audience and judges were entertained by the exceptional talents of Clipso trainees from first to third year level each presenting a ‘complete look’ on a model, with the second and third years each giving a two minute presentation to explain their concept, technique and over all look, including use of mood boards.

The judging panel for the 2012 competition was British Hairdresser of the Year and multiple award winning, Andrew Collinge, TIGI’s Global Creative Director, Nick Irwin, who has worked with a whole host of top photographers, renowned models, and magazine editors and Samantha Grocutt, Managing Director of Essence PR.

Each winner was presented with £150 worth of gift vouchers and a certificate.
