STYLIST FROM CLIPSO SALONS ANNOUNCED WINNER OF PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

CONGRATULATIONS to Sam Ashcroft, based at our Watford salon who won the IT LIST 2013 RISING STAR AWARD at last nights Creative HEAD Magazine Awards, it was a great night!

The It List awards grand final took place at the Natural History Museum in London and was hosted by TV and stand-up star Russell Kane. Sam was presented with his trophy to the cheers of a 600-strong audience including the who’s who of the hairdressing world, beauty industry bigwigs, fashion frontrunners and some of the UK’s leading business gurus.

The awards were judged by an esteemed panel of experts including ITV’s This Morning Leo Bancroft, the Rising Star award was one of the six It List awards announced on the night. Nominated by Scott Halsey and Steve Hamberger, salon managers at the Clipso Watford salon, Sam proved that by winning this award he is an integral team member, keen to seek out new challenges and already impressing clients and colleagues alike with his burgeoning talents and enthusiasm.

Sam was a finalist in the Rising Star category alongside fellow Clipso colleague, Georgie Calvert. With Sam and Georgie both being shortlisted for the prestigious hair award, Clipso Salons display tremendous expertise in creating home-grown talent, which allows the brand to excel and create a strong team of stylists across the group year on year. Last year also saw the Clipso salon group shortlisted for the Training and Development Award within the Hertfordshire Business Awards.
